The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of emotions. We've continued with the sleep training, and Georgia is trying so, so hard to sleep. I'm learning so much as I go along, and I'm a LOT calmer - so I'm thrilled that things are progressing. It's hard, and draining, but I'm finding the better she sleeps in the day, the calmer she sleeps at night.
Win win!
I realised a few days ago that I had quite a few new followers in the online world - I've been pretty open with sharing pictures of my wee girl, but after a few odd faces and comments, I decided to make a switch. The blog here will stay as it is, where I can monitor what I put up & how often. But I have removed my previous accounts on Twitter & Instagram and have started over privately on both of those mediums. I could have blocked and removed accounts on both, but I tried that out and it was far too tedious. Easier just to start over.
I know many people don't like to share photos of their little ones, or at least keep more control over their online presence. I've always been fairly open, although I'd like to think sensible, about what I share. The support I received through blogging and other social mediums while I was going through infertility, IVF & then pregnancy was nothing short of amazing, so sharing my ventures into parenthood seems only natural. Besides, I love the advice I get here & reading other people's stories makes me feel that little bit less lonely on the tough days.

I may be a strange face that is popping up, so I thought I'd say hi. I found you through Jenny at Among the Blossoms. I don't have a blog, just love to read, and Georgia's adorable faces made me laugh. So, I keep coming back to read. Thanks for sharing :)
I want to be added, lady!! I love baby Jag. :)
I can't remember if I've ever commented on your blog before, but I've been reading for a little while (maybe mid-pregnancy?). I'm due in October, and how to deal with privacy is something I've been thinking about. I've never watermarked my photos, but I feel like it would be a good idea when I post images of the baby. I've heard too many stories of child/infant photos winding up elsewhere on the web, with people claiming to be the child's parent / making up stories. I think that sort of weirdness worries me more than anything, just because it's so easy for people to do! But I can't imagine just not sharing photos of my girl, and I'm happy that you share yours.
I'm sorry you have been having troubles with people, darling. And I do agree with you, G is WAY to adorable not to share! :)
I am a new reader (found you through ICLW). I completely understand your desire for privacy. I'm pretty strict about it. I don't post photos of E. on the blog, and I use Picasa with albums that are only visible to people to whom I give the link.
I do put a "year-in-review" on the blog, with tons of photos, and then I make it password protected after a few weeks, but everyone does get a chance to see it for that time. I find that is an ok balance. I'm very aware that I'm making choices/decisions for E., and I have also heard too many horror stories about where people's photos can end up.
I am glad you will still be posting here. I'm excited to read more and get to know you and your beautiful daughter.
T.
Your daughter is a beauty! I struggle with what to leave anonymous and what to share. I haven't posted my name but I have posted up close pictures of me so anyone I know who comes across my blog by accident will know immediately it's me...not sure how I feel about this. I guess if they come across my blog they are probably struggling with IF also so I would feel ok about it? Hmmm.
I saw your twitter post about going private, but I haven't been able to find the new you yet. (By which I mean, I haven't seen any DMs or new follows from the new you; I swear I haven't been stalking Twitter looking for you like a creeper McCreeperson.) Will you add me, if you're so inclined? I miss you!
Hi from ICLW...she is cute
I haven't visited your blog in a while, sorry... Wow, your daughter is beyond beautiful..> I am so happy for you!
I think it is important to maintain a level of privacy especially when kids are involved. Your daughter is just gorgeous!
My friend Katie is the one who commented first, although my blog is no longer called Among the Blossoms. :) It was for years so I think she forgot haha.
