I would have to say that I've been just as up close and personal with random strangers on the tube as I have with my long term boyfriend. How's that for personal space?

Get used to it.
:)
I think the same way while on my commute.
with strangers? how kinky. ;) (kidding.)
I think when you ride the tube, there is no such thing as personal space.
I find that thought depressing. It's the same way on the Metro in DC. Except clothes are always on. Luckily.
How's this for personal space? I have a 90 pound lap dog that even thinks he has to be in the bathroom with me. Oh, not to mention the three kids.....
As long as all parties were consenting... ;)
Ewwwww.... I am somewhat of a germophobe and have issues with being too near or having to touch strangers. Ewwwww....
if you think we're crowded don't go to Japan they employ people to push you on to the tube!LOL seeya hugya *G*
Ugh. Do *not* think I could handle that.
You have sex with random strangers on the train? Eww, slut. No really. I HATE being tightly packed in with people I don't know. Especially when they smell bad.
Oh, fun! Haha :)
You know, being here in the US, I can't stand people invading my bubble and I get quite agitated. But, every time I've traveled overseas with my dear hubby, we've obviously taken public transport and been crammed in like sardines, and it's not really bothered me. ~shrug~
HAH that was me at tafe. And I rode the western line through tops places like Cabramatta... so.. it was strange. At the time I was in a long distance relationship and was getting more action from the hobo who insisted on standing so he could see down my shirt than I was from my actual then-boyfriend.
It's an alarming trend which has lead me to hate all forms of public transport. Screw the environment. Screw the price of petrol. I don't want my boobies fondled by ed-the-pervy-dealer, and will hence, drive everywhere.
I hate it when it's packed on the tube. It's horrible.
You could even say it's the pits, which would be particularly apt considering your face is often pressed into some dude's rancid armpit for the majority of your journey.
The worst part is, there's always someone taking up two people's worth of space because they want to read their paper.
Definitely the worst thing about public transportation reliance. So much weird stranger closeness!
You are like a "tube ho" aren't you??? LOL
