Some Birthday Musings.

My brother turned 21 today - 21! I feel so old. And so far away.

Even though I'm over here and he's back home, he still makes me laugh. We chatted online a few weeks ago, and it reminded me that he is turning out to be such a decent guy. He'll forever be the same old frustratingly annoying and cheeky sibling that he's always been, and I love him for that. But I'm realising more and more that I actually like him. Despite his flaws (and lame jokes), he's turned into a really decent man.

(Now he just needs to grow out of the whole spending money on his car phase, and start on the whole saving money for a European adventure trip phase.)

Happy birthday, my not-so-little brother!

Dude... when my brother turned 21 it felt SO weird. Poor kid was stuck in Iraq at the time, too.

Now he's turning 24 and that's even more weird. By a lot..

Wow! Happy birthday to him! My brother just turned twelve, and I think he is just growing up way too quickly!

So sweet! When I read this, I realized that I hope someone says the same things about my son one day.

Happy Birthday Alynda-brother!

Ahh... I keep forgetting that your brother is those 8 looooooong months older than me! I hope he has a good birthday!

Speaking of age, my status as the youngest employee in the entire office was reaffirmed when I mentioned my 21st birthday is in December and jaws dropped. Gah.

My little brother turned 21 on the 14th. It's so weird, right? He's supposed to stay a baby, not grow up like me. Funny enough, my brother never got out of the "spending money on his car" phase...and now he's a mechanic. Go figure!

It only gets worse. My sister is staring down 25 right now. 25?!?! I just finished being 25!

Hope your bro has a wonderful bday!

Happy Birthday to your brother. :)

It is so sad to have a younger brother. My little brother turned 18 recently. It makes me want to cry.

We're getting old!
