This will be my last daily blog for a while.
I'm a competitive little vegemite and hate giving up on a challenge - but to be honest? Since the day I started this blog in April 2006 (with the exception of my New Zealand holiday last year) I have blogged every single day. Hell, I've technically already completed Blog 365. I have no shame in throwing in the towel on this one.
I value you guys too much to post crap.
I've got loads of things to say but not much energy to post them.
I need to take a wee break.
(Ha! A wee break.)

Good for you to take a creative break when you need it! I have been in that situation before that I had things to write about but did not have the energy to write or just was not able to put my thoughts into a coherent text.

I think your record is pretty amazing. I'd imagine that it would feel forced occasionally if you try and keep up the daily posting. I know it did for me. Anyways, quality over quantity is always a good thing. :)

Aly, as much as I love reading you every day, I think you've made a good decision. We all get tired and a little jaded on the blog front now and then.
We know you won't be going far, but there's no shame in just blogging every couple of days, or whenever you feel like you have something to say!

Hey when it starts feeling like a chore you need a break I’ve always been a sporadic blogger life always gets in the way (as dose sleep!)I always try and do at least once a week but sometimes it doesn’t work, most people have blog feeders nowadays so will know the min you post again! I honestly don't know how you have done it babe. I have been blogging since August and I am down to 3 maybe 4 a week. I just can't do it everyday.
Especially with my self imposed visit and comment on every commenter blog policy, blogging was becoming a chore.
Take a break and you will find you will be excited to blog again. I just know it.
I totally understand. Well when you come back I have moved. I used to be 1218blog but now I am with wordpress.
Have a great break- you'll just have all the more time and energy to go out and do really exciting things that we'll be dying to hear about whenever you're ready!
