Laughter is the Best Medicine.

Daily blogging has it's downsides, especially if you have nothing of very much importance to discuss on a particular day. Instead of sharing the details of my current day (which include, but are not restricted to cramping, back aches and stealing the hot gelpack from my brother's post-wisdom teeth extraction to shove down my pants) I'll instead move right along to questions!

Today's one is from Jennie, who asks "When's the hardest you've ever laughed?"

I like to think I laugh alot. I'm definitely not as grouchy as I used to be, and I like to smile. Laughter is different to smiling, though. You can't fake laughter. When I'm amused by something, I have the most dorky sounding laugh ever. Seriously. It sort of bellows out of my mouth, before I can control it into normal sounding laughter. I did it last weekend in the hotel pool and you should have heard my honking echo around the surrounding apartments. A trifle embarrassing.

I can't give you one specific time when I've laughed the hardest, but I can narrow it down to just a few occasions where you'll see me giggling.

#I laugh when I'm tipsy. Especially if there is wine involved. Or if I'm falling down in driveways. Or on Contiki tours. Drunk = laughter.
#I laugh on spontaneous girly weekends. On planes. After eating sugar.
#I laugh when I'm nervous. And sound really, really stupid.
#I laugh when my pets do stupid things. Like Max this morning, who spent about five minutes trying to figure out how to untangle himself from his blanket.
#I laugh after drinking strong coffee. I practically never drink coffee, so when I purchase one from a store like Starbucks or Gloria Jeans, I end up hyper.
#I laugh at my kidlets, because they say the funniest things.
#I laugh with my mum, and it's something I'm going to miss when I leave. As annoying as she/I can be, we never fail to find things to chuckle over.
#I laugh at your funny blog posts, and I mean literally laugh. Out loud.

There are still a good few days left in November to fill, so keep on thinking up some questions for me! I can't promise to have all the answers, but I can promise to give them a shot, and to give you a nifty little shout-out on the blog as well. Hoorah.

I think the hardest I've ever laughed would be when I was a kid, and me and my friend were feeding my dog French Fries - the potato chip ones...
And for some reason, hearing him chew on them made me laugh so hard I sprayed green cordial out of my mouth across the entire front decking.
Good times, good times.

Hmmmm. Questions.

Who is the hottest guy on Lost? Do you get to see Lost? Are you angry at the writers for being retarded too? Are you both dreading and awaiting the new season in January?

What is the biggest spider you've ever seen?

What holidays do you celebrate down there that we don't up here?

Is Nicole Kidman like your national goddess or do you guys even care?

I laugh at the wind blowing. And sometimes when I write something really funny on my blog. I figure someone should laugh out loud.

I have a question, who is your favorite muppet?

the most recent was when I heard someone say the word 'badonkadonk' in a regular sentence. I literally collapsed in laughter mid-hallway and couldn't breathe for a few minutes.
I was also the only one laughing, I feel I must add.

Great question! I totally think there should be much more laughter in the world.

I was told last week, by my son's peditrician, that I laughed like a witch. Not so flattering, huh?

My father took me to see "The Jerk" when it was released in theaters, and I have not laughed that hard since (that was 1979). There was a point at which I actually feared that I wouldn't be able to stop laughing. I was scared and laughing at the same time, which was wild.

I laugh when my coworkers spontaneously start singing selections from "Phantom of the Opera." It happens more often than you might think!

I laughed like a fool at Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers. But I have seen it since and not thought it was quite as hysterical as the first time I saw it.
I laugh hardest on road trips. My husband will start up with some goofy comment and next thing you know I'm about to piddle on myself. Of course this usually happens when I'm punchy and tired of being in the car, so shortly thereafter, I start crying. Go figure!
The Harry Potter song was a total hoot!

Marbles does this too! Hahahaha. Sometimes I put I prop a small pillow on him for fun. He loves it though in case someone thinks I'm being cruel. Hehe. I have no question but I'd love to see some pet pictures. :D

I laugh most when I'm with my favorite people. But that probably has something to do with the fact that my favorite people make me laugh. Yeah, so. That's when I laugh the most.

Thanks for the linkage!

My genuine laugh is obnoxious and loud and uncontrollable. But laughing is my absolute favorite thing to do. The last time I laughed really, really hard was at The Amazing Race this past Sunday.

Pet's and wine always keep me laughing, my husband cracks me up most of all. He holds up our lil dog and talks for her. I laugh so hard I curl into a ball.
