I'm sorry all this has happened, but so glad baby is hanging in there! Try not to be too alarmed by the threatened miscarriage label--that is the standard term for any bleeding in early pregnancy. It sounds like you may have a subchorionic hemorrhage causing the bleed, which can be terrifying but usually doesn't affect the baby. Fingers crossed it clears up soon and things go smoothly from here!
