Er ... or maybe not? Since it's technically still the day earlier, I'm leaving the badge up. It's black, it's shiny, it has pretty script writing on it, and it encourages new visitors to say hello. Magic in a square box, if you ask me.
I didn't get too many new lurkers coming out of the woodwork, but I did get a lot of lovin' from the bloggers I adore the most; you*, who never fail to leave your words of wisdom when I need it the most. And that makes me happy, because you* are the bloggers who I know and adore and can't wait to continue** stalking. Group hug!
Anywho, NPW reminded me yesterday that it's that time of year again - NaBloPoMo! I succesfully completed this last year, and I intend on completing this with flying colours again next month. I'm going to NoBlofomotrodosido myself (I can never get those letters right in my mind).
Typing the word "contiki" instead of the word "continue" is alot better than answering the phone at work and saying, "Good afternoon, Rincon, this is Contiki" when you were supposed to say your name in place od Contiki. Uhhhh, I *sometimes* read blogs when I should not be, and therefore my mind gets wrapped up in what I am reading, and so, when the phone rings and I answer it, as I usually do, I sometimes fail to say my name and instead blurt out random words that I have just finished reading. Wow. Talk about having too much on the brain!
Whee, I didn't delurk yesteraday so I am today! Not that it's a REAL delurk, but you know. Hi anyway!
Hrm...I like the idea of a motivation to write frequently, but every day? I'm not sure I can crank out something meaningful and deep every day. Hrm...will have to think about that one. Maybe that's the point, to stretch me a bit. Ugh. Stretches. Do I have to? :)

Last year I failed miserably at NaBloPoMo (is that right). Anyway, I'm going to give it a go again this year.
I felt the same way about the "mofo." I try not to have a potty mouth on my blog ("try"), but I swear a lot in person. It's something I'm working on.

I signed up for that yesterday too. Should be interesting. I normally post M-F anyways, but the weekends... ah we'll see. I tend to usually try to get AWAY from the computer on the weekends since its all I see all week long.
Anything that keeps my feed reader full is a good thing in my book. Maybe we should start a "post every week" challenge for all of us blog slackers.
I will be NaBloPoMoing with you! I try to write 5 days a week, so it shouldn't be too hard. But those 2 days I take off? It's because my life it so boring I only have enough material for 5 days at best.

Okay. I did it. I signed up for NaBloPoMo right now. And the fanciness of its new website has already got me all intimidated. But, I will do it. I will find a way to blog every day in November. It was really rewarding last year, so why not give it another go, right?
